Goals

Not many. I’ve been dragging post-PLDI push.

We’re thinking about writing a paper for ICFP which shows that access patterns in Glenside are similar to Haskell’s lenses. This, of course, requires that I understand lenses! I’ve been doing some reading and watching. There’s a video of a talk from one of the primary lens authors from an NYC Haskell meetup. It’s pretty good, but assumes some knowledge. It seems like understanding Functors, Applicatives, and Monads is a bit of a prerequisite.

Despite this blog post being so self-deprecating, I think it’s pretty good.
